The tree I bought 2 years ago for RM11.70 is up again. I was too busy to put it up last year, so it was in the storeroom for 2 years untouched. This year, korkor had been pestering me since back from HK vacation, reminding me so very often when we are having this tree in our home.
I procrastinated for a few days, giving excuses like didi's unwell, meimei's unwell.. He asked me "SO??". Being the reasonable mom I am, I said "Surely we wouldn't want to let anyone miss all the fun of decorating it up, right?
Finally, today I had it up, as I was rather free. And here it is again.
Well, though we don't celebrate Christmas, it beats me too why we even have a christmas tree. I think other than the christmas mood, it creates the holiday mood and new year mood. If it can light up our days even for a month or two, why not, huh? Perhaps I might even have the mood to organize a little party as well. We shall see.
