Of family getting together, Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor fireflies

It was such a pleasant surprise when my elder brother suddenly whatsapp-ed me to find out if I had any plans for the weekend after Christmas. In fact, I had. I was thinking of going to Penang for that long weekend holiday but hotel rooms were not booked yet, so plans could change.

Can someone please believe me, we moved back to KL to settle down since 2006 and not once he came and visit me! Although we do meet almost every year, mostly when we make a visit to Spore and at times in Ipoh for CNY, but he never took his family over for a visit. I'm sorry but I would be lying if I say I don't mind.

Anyhow, he made it this time and I was very happy and excited. Our parents came over too, why of course, even in such a short notice, like less than 24 hours! But they are retired elderly folks so it wasn't much of a problem.

We went on a road trip to Kuala Selangor after dimsum breakfast and stopping by for a visit to the old palace.

Before we go, I tried to find information on where exactly it is to see the paddy fields and to watch the fireflies at night, but I just can't pinpoint exactly where.

It was quite a long journey, and when we reached K. Selangor, we saw the Bukit Melawati already. Quickly find a parking which wasn't much of a problem and walked over to get the tram tickets. It was really quite a long queue  to hop on to the tram. Took like maybe 20 mins wait, and by the time we hopped on, the queue was even longer from when we arrived.

The tram ride was so-so and I think we were all supposed to alight at the peak of the hill to view the scenic spots and "play" with the silver leafed monkeys which were all over the place. But we saw a huge crowd waiting there and since there were 12 of us, we refused to budge, knowing well it would be hard for us to hop back up for the journey down later. The sky looked as if it would pour soon too and we really wanted to move on to Sekinchan. So, the people were like giving us the wtf looks but of course, we pretended we didn't see.. hehe...

By the time we get back to our cars, we were starving as we hadn't eaten anything after dimsum brunch. So, we just hopped in to the nearest shop where we can grab something to bite.

The shop here looked pretty cool, I'd say.

Moving on to Sekinchan, alas, it was pouring when we arrived. It was half an hour's drive from K. Selangor. We drove round and checked out the piers where fishing boats docks and then on to Pantai Redang. Since it was raining, we can't do much so we didn't get off from the cars. It was around 5.30pm by then and we thought since we can't do much, we might as well have an early dinner.

Drove to a seafood restaurant, simply la, and saw a kedai runcit selling seafood stuffs. Hang around, browsed around, bought some stuffs and by the time we were done, hey, the sky had cleared! So we made a change of plan and go over to the paddy fields. I really really wanted to see the infamous paddy fields.

It wasn't difficult locating the fields. Actually it is just at the right side as we drive from K.Selangor and upon reaching Sekinchan.

The fields were indeed vast and beautiful. But before we went down to take a closer look, we had to go find the factory to buy a few sacks of rice first. Hubs asked a local for directions and presto, we found it uneventfully alright!

All of us enjoyed ourselves in the calm and serenity of the vast field, even my first nephew who looked quiet and solemn most days seemed to be quietly appreciating it.  My brother and sis-inlaw says it's great we brought them there as they haven't seen paddy before, only knowing how to eat rice. :)

After dinner, we started on our journey back. Initially the plan was to catch the fireflies watching before heading home but as it was raining again, we thought of abandoning the plan. As we reach K. Selangor, meimei was desperate to pee and fortunately, we saw a row of new empty shops on our left.

We thought of just stopping by and letting her pee hidden away from the lights, but then I saw there was a hotel buzzing with activity just a bit forward.

Hubs went down and asked the person at the hotel lobby if he knew we could still watch fireflies in the drizzle at that time. That person referred to another and what a pleasant surprise, there was a jetty for fireflies watching right there where we were! We didn't need to go and look for another venue that we were recommended to earlier by a local.

As we were contemplating whether to go or no go, I said what the heck, just go! For all I know, this was my first time, and I have heard so much about it, and I don't think I want to drive so far away to watch fireflies anymore, so I really wanted to check it out myself there and then already.

The fees were RM15 per person, same pricing for adults or children. My parents didn't want to go so we had to abandon them.

And my oh my, it was quite a exhilarating boating experience going down the river in darkness like that. Then we saw the fireflies and the 2 locals who accompany us on the boat caught one or two for us to hold in our cupped palms. It was magical. But holy cow, there were SO many mozzies having a feast on our legs!!! That really spoiled the wholesome experience. And we got a bit wet too since it was drizzling, although the boat has a shelter.

The whole boat ride took around 30 mins or so and all of us went home happy and satisfied that we did see the fireflies after all. Though it was a refreshing bit of things-to-see activity, I won't do it the second time. First time, ok ler...

The drive back to KL was pretty bad at some points. It was raining heavily and there weren't any street lights. I relied on car lights in front of me to find the way and drove at a steady comfortable speed. Just prayed there weren't any potholes on the road I was on, else it would be unimaginable disaster. When we touched the highway, I could finally breathe in relief. By the time we got home it was like 10.30pm. What a great day it had been indeed!

The next day, we just went to Midvalley. The smaller ones played happily at MegaKidz while the rest did their shopping. After couple of hours, we went back home and celebrated mom's 70th birthday for her.
Soon, it was almost time to bid farewell but not before a sumptuous Thai meal for dinner. I really wish that they would come by more often, well, at least once a year or two.

Local stand up comedy live.

A couple of weeks ago, I went for the first time to catch a live comedy, by local comedians. Actually, no, not the first time, the first was Wong Cheewah at Genting. That, was the first time for a local production actually.

A friend had graciously opened the invitations, all a treat on her, for the first 9 girls to reply to her. This happened in a closed group for women and it is happening in there indeed.

I was the first one to reply and yes, I was so looking forward to it, for 1, to watch a live comedy show and 2. to check out some hot chicks I was getting to know online through that group.

It sounded so crazily insane. Me hopping into a total stranger's car to PJ Live Arts and meeting them over dinner before the show starts. But of course, not exactly totally strangers la, I am pretty confident that they are not some hoax or conmen pretenders sucking the tits of desperate housewives like me.

I shall say, some of the women are really remarkable, with their sharing of past experiences, what they had gone through or some even going through now and yet turning out stronger than ever. This, is really what i have, nothing but respect and admiration for these ladies.

As for the show, there were 4 comedians doing their acts. One of them was downright rude and NOT funny at all using vulgarity throughout. Like, there's no other ways to make your act looks cool, dude? One is very young, he says he's 21, and he's alright, poking fun at himself, which made us laugh and feel kesian and sayang at the same time. The supposedly "star" of the show was .. well, moderately funny. I think I laughed most with the host who is, noticeably the veteran in this business. Nothing comparable to Wongcheewah, dammit, I really miss that guy.

After the show ended, we went for a drink and post mortem sikit, with some topics of women issues, our issues and said our goodbyes and hugs just before midnight.

I reached home before the clock struck and KT admonished me for coming home so late, saying I am not allowed for rendezvous like these anymore. *pout* (chiu! choi hui doe sor geh!)

Stand up comedy talk show, AWESOME!!!!

It was through the radio that I heard Wong Chee Wah was coming to KL for a stand-up comedy talk show to be held in Arena of Stars, Genting.

I half-heartedly ajak my hubs to let's go buy tickets and watch laa. Somehow, these kind of ajak-ajak, he super layan one. Ask anything else with regards to bags or jewellery stuffs, he pretend he is deaf. He then asked his ma to book rooms see how laa. Why he asked his ma, that's because his ma is member member, accumulate lots of points. Nah.. don't say I say they are kaki judi, I never say that ahh.. Maybe they get their points through somewhere else la.. how I know? I'm not expert in this also. His ma later told him ooh, weekend rooms very expensive des ni. So, this idea was shelved.

Few weeks later, he came home and told me very excited liddat laa. Say his ma say.. got birthday rooms! Nah.. don't say I don't tell you, good also become member, can get free rooms on your birthday. So, his ma booked the rooms for that dates and told me to go buy the tickets.

Then I couldn't drag my feet, had to go buy tickets online. Wahlao wei.. 2 tickets cost RM300++!!! I was little bit heartpain liao paying for the tickets alone. I mean, that kind of money, can buy many DVDs on comedies, kan? And I was wondering if my first ajak was regrettable not. But since damage was done, I only prayed it had better be good.

The show was on the weekend of the first school week. It felt great, going for a getaway after a week's stress. My ma was there waiting for us jor, they Ipoh mali. Then, after a brief walk around to collect the tickets then through the outdoors theme park in the cool weather and a couple of rides later, we were back in the room to shower and left the kids to my ma, whilst we hurried over to the show.

What can I say? I was totally blown away. How could one just talk talk talk non stop for 2.5 hours and made the whole crowd laughing mad? Oh no, he did stop for a break but it was not noticeable since the big screen on the stage showed the second half clip to the first one before he appeared on stage. The short funny clip was about him being a normal worker having a bad day and videotaped in a toilet scolding an old man. That apparently went viral and life was made even worse, his supervisor (Lau Ching Wan) advising him that in the PR line, they should watch what they say. Ironically, when the hot issue of Listen went viral, it reminded me of that clip.

I had a really great time that night, it was so beyond my expectations and I just laughed allllll the way. Funny, when we listened back to the recorded show on hubs' phone, I wondered maybe the jokes weren't that funny. I believe it's the whole setup, the whole crowd laughing madly together, and his actual presence and expressions on stage made all the differences.

So, will I watch again if there's another comedy show? I'll say YES!

1 night right in the heart of KL city

It is indeed something refreshing spending a night in a luxurious hotel, being pampered and spoilt rotten in the heart of KL once a year.

With 2 upgrade vouchers I don't know how hubs got from, our room was upgraded from a normal standard room to a larger room with the breathtaking views of the KLCC park and the convention centre.

The room even has an extra bed so the kids could sleep pretty comfortably enough. Then again, I always feel it's better to train them to sleep in sleeping bags so wherever we go checking in to a hotel, we don't need to worry about beds for them. As we learned in Thailand, some hotels even charge for babycot and even extra pillow!!

In the late afternoon, I walked over to do a bit of window shopping, hoping to get some good buys, but came back empty handedly. It felt good to be having some time alone by myself checking out the stores in that high class mall once in awhile though. If it not been raining beforehand, we would have taken the kids to its nice pool.

That evening, for dinner, we had the buffet spread in the hotel and boy, did we stuff ourselves full. I always feel MO's buffet is the best among all the hotel's buffets. *lick lips*

After dinner, we popped over to KLCC's TGV and watched Skyfall. Yeah, pretty late than everybody else, but we were so busy before this, ok! And on that movie night, I put my feet down and told hubs for the last time, I will not be watching movie with him and the whole gang anymore if he still insists meimei sits on my lap. He always argues that his lap is forever ready for her but she never wanted to sit on his. I told him I don't care. It had always been me and my whole legs went numb every other time. He never understands how unbearable it is to have a 20+ kg kiddo sitting on the lap for the whole 2 hours.

Ooh~ after the movie was over, we just need to walk a few doors away back to our room. How comfortable that was. Many people were still lingering around in the park although the water fountain lighting display had stopped for maintenance. We saw it for just a bit before the movie and it was beautiful.

The next day, we slept through and breakfast was taken at 11am!  Hubs took the kids to KFC whilst I went over to Petrosains to get the tickets for them. Hubs was so sweet enough to babysit them whilst what did I do? Went for a yummy waffle (the best in town!) at the 2nd floor food court and then back over to the hotel for an hour massage, included in the package deal. Oh my Lord, that hour was incredible! It was so so so bliss.

I went back to the room with a big smile on my face, it was really damn good.

The short city break ended with a high tea (also inclusive) and when my hubs asked me "want to continue with another package for next year not?", guess you could tell what my answer is.

A night's stay at Renaissance.

This is meimei, all snuggled up comfortably in a babycot, still. Of course, this isn't our home. It is in Renaissance Hotel in KL for a night stay. The boys sleep together in 1 bed while this little girl still gets to be the "baby" in her babycot. Guess this will soon be over, she's way too tall for it already!

Now, why would we stay in a hotel in KL? For some mystery unknown, hubs loved to buy those books of vouchers offered from these 5 star hotels. We have stayed in Westin, Sheraton, JW Marriott, Mandarin Oriental so far. The offer also includes buffets, spa, and many other discounts. He thinks it's worth it and probably a convenient getaway from our routine once in awhile. We normally utilizes the food vouchers and the 1 night stay. The other discounts vouchers are gone to waste. So, if anyone wants it, or you know anyone who wants it, do let me know.

To korkor, he says, it's the buffet breakfast which he's looking forward to all the time. The other two never fails to go for the cereals first thing in the morning. Hmm... hotel's breakfast seems to be the most yummiest breakfast for them somehow.

That night, we didn't spend much time in the room, for we had gone to my uncle's wake earlier, so, oh well.

We have yet another hotel stay going to expire end of this year! Guess where we are going to?

An authentic chinese food in PJ area

On Mid Autumn festival afternoon, we took the kids to play badminton in a community hall at a condo where one of hubs' work associates stays in.

Can you tell I was feeling very bored and yawning away while they were playing there?

I would have skipped going but since the plan was to have dinner right after the game, I had to follow suit.

Badminton is a game where most Malaysians love, I believe. We used to play lots of badminton games when we were younger too. I enjoyed playing it myself, but nowadays, I can't run as my knees hurt like crazy so it isn't fun for me anymore.

Last time, when both hubs and I were still dating in Penang, every Wednesday evenings, we would be off for a 2 hours' badminton game with a few other friends of his in Batu Maung. It would then be followed by dinner ending a very fulfilling time dating just like that. I suppose hubs really cherished those times a lot and wanted to relinquish this feeling, as he always keep asking me to play with him. But dang, helloh? can't run la.. knees pain pain!

Didi really lovessss badminton so much, he didn't stop for the whole hour and wanted to continue on had not the next person who booked the court show up.

It was about 6pm then, and we asked the work associate to go have dinner with us.

Since it's his territory, he happily looking forward to show us to somewhere special for a dinner that day.

It was at a house like that in the above picture.

And what did we eat?

These dishes are actually originally from a part of China. The friend who brought us there is from China and he was introduced to this place from his counterparts as well.

We felt like we were transported back to China for awhile, as the people who cooked and served us speak in their slang and everything else in there seemed so "chinese". There were only about 5 tables and as it was a small corner house, the patrons were all seated very close and I didn't dare to take any pictures inside.

Basically, inside is just the basic necessities of tables and chairs, not anything fancy, in fact, it was a rather rundown place with a fan working. If we weren't all sweaty already from our badminton game, I think I would feel very uncomfortable eating in there.

And meimei said, this place is called a housetaurant. The food was really special and VERY YUMMY though!!!

Time out at a park

These were taken at Bandar Sri Permaisuri park when my sil was here with her family recently. The mahjong session was ongoing at home and 5 of us took my sil and her little 4yo daughter to breathe in some fresh air and let them have some playtime at a park instead of really doing nothing much at home

So, where is this park? Do you know? It's in Cheras, near to the HUKM, i,e Hospital UKM. So convenient, you injure yourself at the park, you hop over in less than 5 mins to see doctor. *wink*

Zooming off to have some fun time.

The boys like this park because of these gliders.

The few parks we'd been to, namely KLCC, TTDI, Lake Gardens, Bkt Jalil, do not have these gliders. It caters to a wider range age of kids instead of just the normal kiddy playground of slides and swings. That is why the boys really like this park a lot more than the rest.

Oops! Too tall for this low glider!

The girls love this instead.

See all the tall trees that is providing a comfortable shade to park-goers? It's not a bad thing to be outdoors, but with the poor maintenance you'd see, sigh, it's such a pity. Anyway, it didn't stop the rakyat from enjoying the free entertainment for the whole family. A lot of benches are built for picnickers. I love the idea of having a picnic here, but there's somehow some other factor I don't quite like over here. The overall cleanliness? Maybe...

See? The big kiddo also wanna play along.

They spent a LOT of time at this ..... THINGY MAGICKY!

See what I meant by poor maintenance? It might be the weather or other factors, but still?

Maybe it's put there to train the kids to be vigilant about potholes la.

This huge monster is the THINGY MAGICKY which they spent,
like maybe slightly more than half an hour there.

Apart from the playground, beyond the trees, there's some jogging tracks in some hilly ground and I could see many joggers in that humid and rather hot late afternoon. I myself yet to explore the outer grounds but quite honestly to say, I won't dare to jog in a public area like this in this rampage of crime spluttering around the city. It looks dangerous! I heard many stories of daylight robberies in the parks as well, not verified but I'm not surprised that it's true. In fact, these days, I observe so many girls/ women are carrying pepper spray with them. I myself do, and I sure hope I won't need to use them. OK, I digress.

Really, our time is really the best time to be born in, coz we could wander and run around within the whole kampung or town vicinity even at a young age without worrying at all. See the kids nowadays? Parents keeping a close eye on them playing at a public playground and watching like a hawk.

We ourselves, well, my sil was following the girls every step of the way whilst the hubs stretched himself and played with the boys too and me, busy snapping pictures away. :)

Relish at Jogoya Starhill.

Oh man! Do I love Jogoya! Its buffet spread is just wonderful and spoilt for choice. A Jogoya treat comes during special occasions only, and of course, when there's promotions. Currently, there's this Buy 1 Free 1 that we can't resist and we hopped over one of a weekday to enjoy. I stuffed myself crazy with sashimi and every bite comes with loads of satisfaction and pleasure. Normally I eat like 50% of what my appetite can takes in, but in a Jogoya treat, I go 150% or even more! All the way, vrooommmm.... Even the kids do, and they went home walking in pain! Really! Too full, they said. I was full too but I didn't feel the pain until 1am halfway in my lalaland. The tummy bloated up and something went wrong and I kept returning to the toilet till 3ish. *bawl* Knowing it was futile to push anymore excess Jogoya intake out, I forced myself to go back to sleep with the excruciating pain my tummy was in. Waking up another 2.5 hours later to the alarm clock for school, the pain was still there, YIKES! I'm not going to stuff and torture myself like this anymore in future. What a price to pay! This is lesson learnt. Meanwhile, this treat was for korkor's coming 12th birthday and he had wanted Jogoya treat for a long time. He's happy now.

The Club, Saujana @ Subang

On the last Friday of the school holidays, my good buddy, JM graciously invited us to use her hotel room as a playground as she would be dashing off to the airport before 7am and couldn't make full use of the grand hotel's facilities and the provided breakfast.

I briefed the kids the night before that they had to hurry and pack their swim attire and leave the home not too late. Good thing I done that as they were pretty much cooperative and fast. I arrived at slightly before 10 and managed to fill up their tummies before the breakfast session was over.

To the kids, hotel's breakfast means nice good crunchy koko krunch and honey stars in fresh milk. That's the first thing that they go for and the only thing that they are always looking forward to whenever we have breakfast in hotels. (Not that we often do that anyway)

The room's design is stylishly modern and chic. The bed looked awesome soft and comfortable, but I didn't stay for the night, so had to ask my friend how it was.

Soon we changed and ran outside to the pool for a dip. There's a vast garden for good running round, I would think it's a safe haven for little toddlers practising their steps.

There are even bikes on loan. Didi and I took one each and cycled around the garden. It was almost 12noon but fortunately it wasn't too hot for me. Else I would just laze under those big umbrellas waiting for them.

As there were only just didi and meimei with me, they didn't have much desire to spend more than usual in there. And furthermore, I really am pulling out my hair, both of them are in a recent spite towards each other, right from the moment they wake up to the minute they go to sleep. Everyday. So so frustrated with them. Is this just a temporary stage? I hope so as I really do not want to resort to separating them in their daily routine.

After a bubble bath, we left the place and went to school to pick korkor up.

Pameran Raja Kita at old istana

Do you know? Old Istana opens its doors to the public. I think it's a rare opportunity to finally catch a glimpse of our very own royal palace. Where the real king really stayed in. Excited or not?

Well, maybe it would be opened forever, then again, we never know. So the current ongoing exhibition "Pameran Raja Kita" is a must-see for locals or tourists, in my book.

We went on the recent Mother's Day, having my parents over co-incidentally. They are opened to the visit as well and happily followed along after breakfast done.

Finding a parking spot wasn't a big problem though there were many cars. Word got around very fast and more people are flocking over. We were lucky as a family was about to go off and we parked rather near to the entrance gate.

Walked in through the gate and up the long slope which was visible from the gate. When we reached the end of the slope, this is the building that we saw at the right.

Many sections of the palace are closed and only the hall for the exhibition is opened. Very welcomed indeed since it was a very hot day and the hall was air-conditioned. Cool air~

The exhibits are very intricate and nice to look at. Especially all these blink blink types.

Spent about an hour inside and stepped out in the open hot sun again to take some pictures.

Then we proceeded to the new palace. It was like a half day palace tour, having had our dim sum breakfast at a place called "Cheers Palace".

The new istana boasts of a vast space outside and inside. Just look at it! Darn mighty huge space to run around in.It was unfortunate noone knew when the changing of the guards would happen or what proceedings would take place, so we rather not wait in vain and called it a day after spending about 10 mins or so there.

In my opinion, I would say, if the old palace had opened up more of its doors for the rakyat or tourists to peep the living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, just to have a feel of "wow! this is where the king do his business just like us everyday", that would be so cool, eh? I wouldn't even mind paying a bit of an entrance fee for that! Then again, I don't think it would be possible here, even though it's Malaysia Bolehland.

Petrosains KLCC

Picture took at Petrosains and sent via email to my inbox. Seen here, papa and meimei were exploring this app.

We finally made our maiden visit to that place, after a prolonged delay of x weeks.

It was somewhere in an exhibition fair that we applied for the membership to Petrosains, paying only RM50 for unlimited access for all 5 of us. It also applies to the Science Center in Singapore, and hearing this, both of us just jumped at the opportunity, regardless if we were to make a trip down south this year or not. If this membership includes the Science Center in Mont Kiara area would be awesome, but, oops, they had withdrawn themselves from this program and thus, is not the best deal ever.

Nevertheless, Petrosains is the place for children to have some fun. In the midst of a tight schedule on a Sunday, we were still able to rush over at 4+ and hang around until they closes at 6.30pm. The kids' joy were dashed, but we promised to take them there again. Sure would since we wanna make full use of the membership.

I think the mock up of the oil rig is pretty cool. And to see a life sized cabin for its crew, it's an eye-opener for me.

Yes, we would be there again... just don't know when!

Scholastic Book Buffet experience.

It's the first time I ever heard of a book buffet!

How it works, you buy a bag for RM49.90 and you are allowed to stuff as many books as you can into the bag for a time limit of 15 mins.

I would have thought such a small bag would get me 5 or 6 books, but look at this!

23 books! Interesting.

Now we can all have these books as dinner. Yummy!

Nature's display of light

One fine evening, I was driving meimei to her class amidst the after-working hours traffic chaos. Nothing unusual, every week is the same, but that day, the sky was unusually beautiful. Lucky I was carrying my camera with me that particular day. I was snappy-happy for the whole crawl.

When I saw the above, I said to meimei "look! isn't that beautiful?" She replied me "yeahhhh... it looks like a giant torchlight in the sky". I have to agree with her. :)

Picnic at TTDI Park

Last weekend, a friend sms-ed me to ask if I want to adopt a new hamster (I think) as hers gave birth to a few babies itself. I declined with the excuse I was worried I would "murder" it for forgetting to feed it. She replied my sms asking me if I wanna join her for a picnic on Sat early morning at TTDI park with another friend. I replied back ok, thinking it's not nice to decline a second time, right?

Anyway, I thought I owed it to the kids to bring them out and enjoy the early morning sunshine during their school holidays instead of sitting at home, wasting the whole beautiful morning lazing around on the bed. After all, the whole week was just frantic running around doing chores and errands. They were so bored to death. Though I always tell them now(copying the principle from another blogger) that only boring people would feel bored.

As my friend asked me to bring something along, I had only thought of sausage and egg sandwiches. Then we lugged the whole prop of stuffs, picnic mat, picnic utensils, coffee, milo, bike, balls, ooh~ though simple, it was actually kinda fun!

TTDI park is a really good place to have a picnic with all the greens and shades around. We could sit there and chat till almost noon without feeling the heat so much, while the kids are safely around playing their own games and the papas hover around to attend to them. It was bliss! (though the hubs won't probably enjoy themselves that much!)

I think next time I ought to force the hubs to go jogging with the boys while I sit and chat with my friends. He surely needs the exercise!

Ninja burgers

Wonder most kids love burgers? Mine certainly do! They love McD, KFC, mommy-made, Ninja's pork burgers, any burgers would do. My hub love those sidewalk's Ramly burgers most. He would be searching high and low for them when we are at some places outskirts.

One weekend, the kids just bugged us and chant nonstop for Ninja burgers for dinner. Hiya... really farn!

When food came, they became raucous. Like cannibals. After finishing off theirs, they didn't have enough and want more, so they turned to us and asked for a bite. And they never stop at 1 bite! Poor papa, his burger was attacked by them as he was enjoying his, for it came later.

Have you tried this before? This Wednesday, I promised them burger for dinner. Ramly beef patty, from the supermarket's frozen food section. I don't know how to make them. Maybe one day, I'll try. When I have my brand new sparkling kitchen. *wink*

Thoughts while driving

Yesterday, I drove to a less-travelled route to have lunch, just so to find that perfect fish ball that suits my palette.  In doing so, I p...
