i love the movie, too, but some scenes were too demented. my guess she wants to be perfect coz she has a very fragile mind, very naive, an enabler and wants to please. I have to say this movie real plays with your pysche. You think Beth jabbed her face with the nail file? Are the people in the movie real or figment of her imagination? In my opinion she is projecting these characters from her imagination and into her own reality.
have to watch it again. watch it twice and still not sian yet.
