My "siew lai lai" life.

There are times I feel really grateful for the life I'm having now. And I have to thank my hubby for bringing home the bacon, freeing me from the pressure and stress of KPIs, bosses, working hours, traffic jams. It's also the best years to enjoy parenthood, when the children are between the ages of 2 to 6, at their cutest, say and do the darndest things. I so love the "freedom" when they leave me alone in the mornings, and picking them up from school, seeing their happy smiles on their faces and babbling how their schoolday is.

Yes, this post is about bragging how great my life is!

Just last weekend, I had a whole body pampering session. Bought the Body Shop's Africa Spa Body Salt Scrub and happily scrubbing away every inch of my skin. Except the back. I need to get hold of those "extended hands" for that. Then after bathing, the hair was layered with some treatment cream, and a towel to cover it while I scrub my face and put on SKII treatment mask. Wuiseh! How "refreshed" I felt that time! After 20-40 mins or so, rinsed off the hair, the face, put on this, this, that, that, and the orangy body cream completed the whole session. Whoa! Totally transformed! Not bad! It really was awesome.

This morning, I felt like getting out of my usual pyjamas eating bread for breakfast to doing something cooler. Like bringing my laptop to Kopitiam and eat nasi lemak special with a white coffee while I blog and surf the net. Don't it just complete the whole leisurely life? *grin*

Anyway, I did almost that. Eat nasi lemak, I did but I had the cuppa of cham drink with it with a friend who is back for a short trip from overseas. Had a good time catching up with her though it was only for an hour or so.

She told me about her recent Langkawi trip with just her 2 kids alone (??!!) and how great Bali is for a holiday. That made me kinda looking forward to a trip there. My banker bought this hotel package for a 3 night's stay for RM650, something like that, and I wasn't very enthusiastic about it though. He told me to hunt around for cheap airfare to Bali to realize this family holiday trip, but I had so far turned a deaf ear to his request. Now, I guess I will be doing it. hmm..

Time to change back into my worker attire now.. back to housework.
