Here and there.

Ahhh.. finally some peace. All 3 are back at school and leave me alone to enjoy my "me" time. I feel really sleepy this whole week, so tired that I don't feel like doing anything all the freaking time. But I had to, as the toilets were way too unbearably filthy after 2 weeks of non-scrubbing. I was hoping my part time maid would come in as promised, she went back to her kampung as someone in her family went to hospital, apparently. But no news from her after 2 weeks came and gone.

Hence, though tired and lazy, I spread my time about to do the various housework. Eventually, I find that it's really a waste of time laboring on these kind of jobs. I definitely have MUCH MORE better things to do to spend the time wiser and more worthy. Thank God she sms-ed last night to say she's just back and will be coming in. Finally! I so happily leave the pile of clothes that needed ironing where they are, waiting for her to come in and settle that. hehe.. Thank God for these helpers. Now I really have to start working on the urgents tasks.. blogging, chatting, surfing net.. hahaha.. hell, no!

First thing first, it's the month of April, and it means getting the forms for IRB filled and submitted. I hate doing this every year, and every time we would scramble at the last minute, scurrying to the nearest IRB office on the very last day. I so hate that feeling of urgency. Now then, you might wonder, I'm a homemaker, need to pay tax ger meh? Certainly! Homemaker also get paid, in my case. And apart from mine, I have to do it for my hubby. He already reminded me over and over again to read the forms. His BM sucks so badly, his son might do even better than him in no time. Sigh.. I should add on to my role, I'm a secretary to him too.

The other day, I do not know why I had a sudden urge to visit Penang. The last time we were there, I think was about 2004, as I was just pregnant with meimei and the boys were having chicken pox. I wasn't much worried about the pregnancy then as I already have the immunisation, supposedly. Wonder why the sudden desire to make a visit there again, but I had this "image" in my mind, walking in Botanical Gardens with the kids, savoring the VSOP tastes of durians in those durian orchards and walk around the uni ground again to reminisce the good old days. I then told my hub about it the next day, he didn't seem like he heard me. Hmm... oh well.

Time for yoga. And it's Friday again! So fast?

Hello Gargies, long time no see.
Just thought I drop by say hello.
How you doin'?
Nothing like peace and quiet to rest the mind, body and soul.
And yes, Penang is certainly the place to get your batteries recharged.

You keep well Gargies and have a pleasant weekend. Best regards, Lee.

I thought you enjoyed doing housework? Didn't "Joy of the homemaker" mean that?
