Cheap thrills and entertainment

Sunday being family day, it would usually be breakfast outside and some cheap thrills and enjoyment for the children. That is, if papa does not need to go for meetings. Today it's their luck, and what I had in mind is BA donuts Buy6free3 promotion. yum yum.

We slept in till about 10, after going to bed only at 1am the night before watching Changeling. Lucky the kids do not kacau when they get up, they just straight go out to watch TV without any fuss. Such a contrast compared to the time when they were smaller. When they would usually have you up and about to attend and fuss over them once they open their eyes in the morning.

As such, we had a late breakfast, almost like brunch. Then we hopped over to the mall and went for some cheap thrills. Bought 3 tokens for the kiddies ride and play, each one is given 1 token only nia. How pathetic!

There's an exhibition of Dinosaurs around, and I told papa to pay for the tickets laa.. how often we pong-chan them. RM12 for adults and RM8 for child. Not cheap too, huh?

Fancy a robotic baby dino? It moves and blinks and wags its tail. And it can get sick, learn new tricks and need to be fed and played with. A toy/pet which would be so weird to have. If not for the high price tag, I would have take my purse out, pay and take home. The salesperson said 1699, papa asked if it's 16.99 or one thousand six hundred and ninety nine. Duh! Isn't that rather a situpeed question?
Not that I pin-sum and didn't like to take koko's pictures, but that young man really hates the idea of camwhoring. I gave up, no good to force people, right? min keong moe hang fook.

We then spent quite a long time doing sand art. It was such a crowd, but the children persevere and enjoyed themselves so much.

Can you believe it? Though sand art had been around for quite sometime already, and we had seen it many times, this is actually the first time my 3 kids tried their hands in it. They were absolutely clueless what to do at first, and after showing them, they were just so hooked. I hope they won't cry for it when we pass through a sand art booth the next time we go gaigai.

As we reached BA shop, they were giving some free donuts out, and papa, needless to say, kiasu and went to grab a few. I still went ahead to use up the voucher and brought 9 donuts home for teatime. After that, we went for a dip in the pool and out for dinner. What a day. I should be in bed now, btw.
