It had been a quiet week. I want to go shopping today! Shouldn't be any major happenings now that yesterday came and went?
I was at the wet market early morning and saw the banner of calling people to come and sign for the petition "Free Teresa Kok and abolish ISA". It said "today at 9am", and I forgot all about vegetables, meat and fish, parked my car and quickly look around for the place. Bukit Bintang MP from DAP was there, I forgotten his name and asked one of the women wearing DAP t-shirts who he is. AH.. no wonder he looked so familiar, his face was all over the place before the GE2008.
But his short speech wasn't as interesting as another speaker (unknown) who spoke in Cantonese. And I participated in clapping when others were, and left after awhile. The signatures were all on her banner. Many people without much prompting came forward to sign on it.
Across the road is another long banner which says "where is our Teresa Kok?" with her sassy face from her sassy blog. My heart sinks looking at it, somehow, and watching her mom's video on her condition was even heart wrenching, feeling for her as a woman and a mother. My hope as with all others right now, is to see for the day of her release and regaining her freedom.
