Dawn tags CY & me (among others), CY, in turn, tags me & MY (among others), and MY in turn tags me too, so I'm basically tagged 3 times...which means I supposed to do this 3 times, but anyway, it's.... unimportant.
And then, the topic also go evolved. I think the topic was "....facts ABOUT me", then later, it became "...facts TO me"... anyway, again, it's, err....... unimportant too la.
So, what do I do now? Aiyah, who cares, right? It's, anyway, unimportant as well.
I'm going to do what I like.
6 Unimportant facts about me:
1. My favorite game when I was young is to play "daddy and mommy, happy family", no competition, no winners, no losers, it's all about love and it's "....and they live happily ever after".
2. I have done several plastic surgeries to my face (shocking!), and one of them is removing a big mole right under my right eye! I guess a lot of my friends forgotten I have that prominent "trademark" on my face.
3. I have an unsymmetrical face. All my passport sized pictures show it so clearly.
4. When I was 14, I was a stalker. The guy was a Leung Chiu Wai-look alike.
5. I have Achluophobia.
6. I eat corn by first puncturing the "bag", then chew the fillings, leaving the punctured "bag" on the stalk, 2 rows by 2 rows. You have to see me eating it to know what I mean, it's really so much fun eating corn this way.
So, that's the 6 among many unimportant things about me.
As for the unimportant things TO me,
I think and think and think....
This is such a tough question. But if I can't think of unimportant things to me, then it should mean everything is important to me, right? But I don't really think everything is so important to me, other than my family, money and health. Confused like hell? Yeah, that's what I think too.
And so, I guess that ends my tag. Have a nice week ahead, everyone!

All in school... hurray!
My little girl started school this week, for a week trial first. She's so excited putting on her uniform beaming from ear to ear. And she has this knack of trying to look cool when we catch her smiling happily to herself. Just little things like this brings a smile to our faces and just wish she wouldn't grow up too fast yet, let me enjoy this adorable her for a little while longer.
I told her she would need to pass the probation week's "test" first before she is confirmed to be going off to school every morning together with 2-ko.
And what are the tests requirements?
1. She needs to finish her water in her tumbler everyday.
2. She can't cry
3. She has to listen to teacher and follow what teacher tells her to do.
4. She has to make friends with the rest in her class.
The first day when I picked her up, she failed the first point. Almost the water in her tumbler was untouched! Uh oh.. ko-ko was worried, he wanted her to go to school. I asked him why, he says he wants her to be "smarter". Wonder what that means?
Today, what a huge difference. Not a drop of water left! I think she's adamant to pass this week's test... haha.

All in a day's work
OK, time to move on and forget about the unhappy things in life. But only must keep tab to be alert and careful while out in the "wild".
When I was blog-hopping today, I only realized mine was really a small matter compared to bigger disasters in life, like this "near brush with death" accident of Pek Imm's husband. Poor man, poor wife, poor little daughter (girls are usually more sentimental)
Hope he gets a speedy recovery and they settle down back to their happy days again soon. I'm sure they will. Pek Imm, just hang on strong there, ok?
Basket for him (heck, me so very not sincere, huh?)
Anyway, back to today's work, I went for a "Face treatment", totally comes FOC, a compliment from my credit card bank. Of course, it was just a bait to lure me into signing and forking out more than the value of the said treatment in the voucher.

Fortunately, I had managed to verify the holder of the voucher was me and shown the credit card for this verification purpose before the robber took away my IC and the card. What I needed to do was to show up at the appointed time for a skin analysis consultation and followed by the said treatment.
Women's money, it's so easy to earn actually. Just criticize as much as you can on their facial skin and promise a miracle to turn the most ugly duckling to a beautiful looking swan and any woman would be so tempted to take their card out for them to swipe. Fortunately for me (and my hubby), this time, I didn't have any card to let them swipe. haha. (I was robbed, remember?)
The sales manager was getting very aggressive very soon, letting me a very "good deal" to "lock" the offer for a RM230 facial package which didn't come free with the Face treatment, obviously. The usual price for that facial is RM320. And I only needed to put in a RM50 as deposit, and it comes with no expiry date.
I told her, sorry la, I don't carry much cash with me as was phobia with the "wild" already. She played her last card then "RM20 as deposit". "Why waste such a good offer and go to hell when I can promise you the flight to heaven?" Not exactly the words she said la, but almost close to that, I think.
I was very pissed with that kind of bargaining method by now actually. Everywhere it is, the salesman would tell you, this offer is only valid for now, even tomorrow you come and ask, it's back to usual price for you. Damn! If you can offer a low price now, I don't see why you can't give me the low price tomorrow. And it's such a competitive market out there, you don't offer your low price to me, I turn to another supplier, fair?
So, I was adamant and said NO very firmly. Sorry, no luck with this "fish", this "fish" a very kiamsiap "fish", not a "waterfish".

OK, so we proceeded with the FREE Face Treatment, said to totally wipe off my dead cells clean from the surface of my face, and a new healthier and beautiful me would surface soon. The beautician did one side of my face, and let me compare with the other half when she was done. Heck! I don't see any difference leh, though she kept telling me how much fairer, balanced tone, cleaner that side of the face was.
Then, after she did the other half for me, I was given the "O2 treatment", a nice cooling breeze of air with water drops on my face.
And this conversation took place...
SHE: Why don't you sign up for the facial? Frankly speaking, you would have a total makeover after the facial and would look very pretty. Women must take care of how they look so the husbands will feel proud of you
ME: Nah.. after all these years of marriage, looks is not important anymore.
SHE: No la, that's why after these years of marriage, it's even more important to keep looking good, feeling good.
ME: You have no idea. What's important in a marriage is our mutual understanding and communication with each other. Honestly, if he doesn't like me anymore because of how I old I have become, then this husband also not worth to keep la..
SHE: *dumbfounded* *totally pissed with this tough kiamsiap customer*
ME: *oops* *better shut up*
And then, I went home, and did all that they told me NOT to do, exposing myself to sun, swimming, putting on my usual toner, moisturizer, essence on my beauty skin, had another round of my own recipe for better skin...yada yada..
So proud of myself! And that was also because I have no more credit card to utilize too. Hehe...
Later on, I saw my hubby online (he's in China for one day business trip) and we chat...

Robbed la, not snatched wei...
Feeling rather aimless these 2 days, I suppose it's the earlier fate. Wanted to let go of steam, so I called my police friend, just want to whack him kuat kuat as if it's his fault that I was robbed. Poor guy, having to be my punching bag for the day.
He told me after I described the whole incident to him, that it wasn't just classified as snatch thief case, but a robbery instead as there's element of threat there. Not just any robbery as well, it was armed robbery. Sounds pretty serious, huh? That bugger, even teased me why I didn't ask him if he was selling knives. So much of a friend there. Then again, when we talked, he did mention these kind of cases are just too frequent.
I wonder if it's the cause of the conversation with him, I started to feel uneasy these days, when the image of the robber coming towards me with a knife in hand flashes through my mind every now and then. So many other scenarios could happen. And with the name cards in my bag he robbed away, I was thinking they might come and threaten me more as the loot wasn't satisfactory. Am I getting paranoid here?
Yesterday, I read a piece of news "What's brewing for Penang", an interview with YAB Lim GE, the new CM of Penang. It read here, at the very last part..
"I feel that patrolling is more effective than having more police stations. Some police stations only have one girl taking down reports at midnight. She is in danger because people can just come in and hurt her."
Police station robbed? Got such cases before meh? Then they lodge the police report in that police station too ah? My God, if police station also not safe, then I really think the safety in this country is beyond hope already. Scary!

Snatched!
Yeah, finally my turn. My mom had been telling me that forever. So, she wasn't surprised. Definitely very glad I wasn't hurt, and certainly very relieved the boys are not injured.
It happened under the bright hot sunny day, after I picked the boys from their schools, outside my friend's house who had just called me to drop by for awhile. That 2 buggers on a bike was certainly on their rounds looking for opportunities and I guess I was at their right place, right time. Me, definitely, wrong place, wrong time, and definitely careless of me for not scrutinizing the area first before alighting.
When the pillion rider came to me with a knife in his hand, my feeling was rather mixed. It was like facing a devil one on one, one part of me was brave and wanted to fight with him, the other part was scared to death and would have pissed in my pants if he had came any nearer to harm me or worse, my darling child who was just alighting from the car at the back.
I held my umbrella in my hand, pointing at him, and shouting at the same time, hoping my friend would come and save my day soon, but as the worry of him harming my little darling was just too much to bear, the tug-of-war with the handbag in the middle was a lost battle. He jumped back in the bike and rode off in lightning speed, it was impossible to chase after him even my friend jumped in my car and told me to give chase.
Damnit! "Take this !@#$%^&*, farking bastards. Nothing better to do, good-for-nothing scums." (Sorry, need to let it out from my system) What kind of a place are we living in?
In the end, I didn't lose much, strictly speaking. Just some couple of hundred bucks (maybe), my IC, credit cards, ATM card, driving license (which are all useless to him, except the cash, of course) and my handphone (sigh, again!). Maybe the tissues would do him good too, as their loot wasn't even enough to get something decent for their girlfriends. Maybe the pad inside the bag would do some goodness.
And I lost my newly bought "I'm not a Plastic Bag" bag just before CNY. Shit! Jeez! Need to make police report, redo driving license, IC, credit cards, ATM. I just hate all these trouble. Thank God I cleared up some of the things in the bag before that too, like the vouchers from the Matta fair. Now, the family suite, it's going at RM250, I'm sure you understand. Any takers?
I need to go and do all that procedures now, but my heart is still not settled yet. Thumping mad there. What a bad day it had been. Oh, yeah, please send me a sms to tell me your tel number again too. Please let me know who you are in it. Will be getting a replacement SIM soon. Take care of yourselves, do be careful alighting from cars, learn from my mistake.
Hope these sampah masyarakat would be wiped off from the planet one day.

Weekend getaways for the year
Thronged to Matta Fair just a few hours before it closed shop. For RM9, RM3x2 (entrance fees), RM3 for car park (hubby wanted to save on that as well by parking illegally but couldn't find any slot only), we got quite good deals (I think) for some weekend treats for this year.
Rainforest Resort Taman Negara, that'll be a long long drive to and fro for just a night stay, but for the sake of saving money in our pockets, that's where we are going, even though that meant more fuel, hence more money spent on petrol and tolls!
And the children would absolutely love this one Tiara Beach Resort atPork Port Dickson. Only RM150 for a family suite, how affordable is that? We bought 2 vouchers for 2 suites, don't care first, see who wants to buy from us for RM200. Anyone? ;)
That were the good deals we could get hold of in the "Domestic Holidays" hall. Really darn lots of people in there. We walked till our legs sore.
Came to the "Overseas Holidays" hall, I could only feel sorry it's just "look see look see" for me. After awhile, really no mood to walk anymore and went home. By then, it was already more than 2 hours spent in the fair.
Never mind, can still "work harder" to dig for free flights at the Air Asia website, about time to plan for the "big one" at the end of the year.
Thrifty, huh? (As how Jo-N described about me), a better word to describe "kedekut", definitely.
Hey, who wants to join me in those 2 getaway breaks? CY, I'm already having thoughts about getting you guys to join us in the Taman Negara one when you are back for the summer break with your family.
