It's not so hard to enjoy life. The other day, after a blurred morning (like suddenly "huh? time to pick the kids now ah?) I just made a simple lunch and hurried off to the tadika. Driving home, on the spur of moment, I decided to take them for a short and simple indulgence and took them along to eat tai-peng-kor donuts.
It's so joyous to see them eat. "mmm.. so yummy" says didi. While meimei already tucked her little mouth into the pink donut, coloring her little cheeks pink as well. I just let them dirty themselves, when we get home, they'll have their shower anyway. It's a sheer pleasure just to spend these moments with them.
After walloping all 5 of them, leaving 1 behind for korkor, I told didi not to tell papa that we ate these donuts hoh. He asked me why. I said "if you tell, papa going to scold mommy and I can't take them here again lor" He gave a deep thought and his face told me he understood very well.
Then, we walked around for a little bit of shopping spree. Ahh... found a pair of nice comfy sandals for myself, and some few other items enough to make my day. Got this tablecloth for my table in the kitchen.
This old and worn table was left behind by the previous owner of this property, and we had wanted to replace it all the time. But somehow, both of us seemed to feel rather reluctant to just throw it away without a good valid reason as it's still standing fine. If someone would have liked to have it, we would be happy to give too. Then again, it doesn't really make a fine gift. Ahh.. with this tablecloth now, it totally gave it an uplifting look again and it became almost like new. Happy.
And with this, we went home and went through the day with our routine again.
The next day, papa came home fr his trip and meimei "chuen poe" our little secret. It was rather funny, with didi pointing a finger at her and said "ORHHHH!!! you told papa!". Meimei looked at me innocently and I said "that's ok, we can't have the donuts anymore only". And she started to pout, her eyes became misty and then *bawl*.
Oh yes, this taipengkor donuts gave me some vouchers for a promotion period in April, some buy 6 free 3, 3 for RM5.. I'm so gonna have it again (don't care what the man says). Yay!

Of mini concert, haircut & birthday party
I have so many things to blog about from the events on Saturday, but it's already Thursday, so half of what I had in mind was long forgotten.
After our usual hakka mee breakfast (goolymama, ingat? yummy!), we rushed over to the kids' tadika for a mini concert cum some Earth environment day, something something. It's one of the management's effort to contribute their part to the society, of course, conveniently dragging our children along. Anyway.. I'm not ranting or complaining.
Started with the opening of cutie-cuties singing, dancing, prancing, jumping, oh, I have a video of meimei's little swaying of hips. It's so cute (I say cute means cute, ok?)
Apart from that, there was a playland, so called, it's actually just some bouncers and a pool of balls for the kids to let loose in. They, of course, so love it. Some organisations of WWF (Earth Hour!), spa business, toys company and.. I forgot! Anyway, there's one which I like to highlight though.Dermatoglyphics. More of that later.
After hanging around till lunch hour, we left and didi couldnt' find his sandals. We had to return home to find him a pair of shoes and out again.
I was eager to have a haircut while papa wanted to visit some homefair. And thus, we had lunch, went separate ways and meimei followed me to a salon to get it done with before I changed my mind. It was quite some moons ago since I last went to have my hair permed.

We then lalalum rush to a birthday party of a friend's daughter who's same age as korkor. As our siewyisi, I thought instead of buying ANOTHER toy or book or clothings, why won't we have some bouncy fun? These bouncers were from the morning's kindy where they conveniently moved over, and I got some decent discounts for it for the convenience.
They had some splashing fun and it was all hell broke loose. It gives us a peace of mind though, that the children are occupied and having fun by themselves. And I was made a VERY "respected" guest from the children as I brought them this "present". *beams*

Yes, my new hairstyle! From curls to straight to curls to straight... it's a cycle. And yeah, I curi curi went bouncing on that thing.
We enjoyed ourselves that evening, staying up till 11+. Indeed nice to be spending some time with friends.

He made it finally!
At his age, korkor were playing handphone games, passing one level after another until the last. He had beaten me to it in no time. I was stuck in level 2 while he had finished his level 10. Or were my fingers too clumsy compared to his, thus lost to him?
As for didi, he has no interest in these gadgety games, be it handphone, computer or Wii. He's still into "making things" with the toys korkor no longer interested in years ago.
Sometime ago, I showed him some little tricks with a rubberband, something I used to play with during my younger days. He was so curious in those tricks that he had been wearing a rubberband on his wrist everyday, when he sleeps, when he plays, when he's schooling, when he's bathing, playing with it anytime he wants to. Some of the times, he refer that rubber band as the Omnitrix too (imaginative??)
To my surprise, he learnt some of those tricks on his own, and after showing him a few more times, he has mastered it. I'm just in awed how a simple rubberband can hold his interest for this long, and still counting.
So, here is the step-by-step procedure on how to make a "babystar in a big star's tummy", butterfly, gun, knife and a ring, and some little "magic", behold, Lavid Loperfeel in the making.
Talk about cheap, how cheap can we be? Goolypop told her son to just use his hands and transform into autobots. I'm slightly better than her, ain't I?
Children. How I wish they would stay being at this age, so cute and adorable. And I also wish they would only remember the nice things in their childhood, not the witch I was sometimes. I hate myself too when I turned into a witch.

Something's not quite right today.
- woke up earlier than usual to send mama and ahyi off. me cry? no la. just a bit mm-seh-tuck, got. heiz.
- after less than 24 hours here, I figured I have to search high and low for my things in the kitchen. my mama. don't you *hate* it when someone else touched your stuffs and relocate the things to don't-know-where?
- I spent some time revising musical pieces with didi and found myself tearing his clothes! He was so testing my patience, but I was adamant and in the end, I am hanging low with misery and guilt. Scared to bits what will possibly happen when he's not that forgiving later. I swear I'm gonna practice more self-control.
- My heart feels so empty, my mind is blank, I had the shock of my life when I opened up my pc this morning.
- the short chat with a good friend yesterday who dropped a bombshell, still lingering in my mind, hoping, praying he's ok, and worried this kind of thing happening to my hubby. last night, he put his arm on my hand and I could feel it burning. He wasn't feeling well and is having a terrible sore throat. Though sometimes (ok, very often) I nag and complain about him, I really do not know what I will do if something happens to him. (Time to go to temples and churches?)

English lesson - UP
It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?
At a meeting, why does a topic come UP ? Why do we speak UP, and why are the officers UP for election and why is itUP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends and we use it to brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, we warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and some guys fix UP the old car.
At other times the little word has a real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses.
To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special.
And this up is confusing:
A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP.
We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP !
To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP , look the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions
If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more.
When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP . When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it wets UP the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry UP.
One could go on & on, but I'll wrap it UP , for now ........my time is UP , so time to shut UP!
Oh...one more thing:
What is the first thing you do in the morning & the last thing you do at night?
U P
Don't screw up. Send this on to everyone you look up in your address book.
Now I'll shut up
(from my mailbox someone sent to me this morning)

We so need one of this.
Last night, we went to watch "Race to Witch Mountain". Koko can sit and watch for the whole show, though I wonder how much he could comprehend. Then again, that wasn't very important. While the other 2 were restless and did not know how to appreciate it yet.
After the show, we passed through a digital exhibition on the ground floor and saw this cool gadget. It's a trilingual dictionary, english, BM, chinese. The feature I love most is the touch screen and I can write the character in chinese on the screen and it will decipher the code for me, doesn't matter I do not know how it pinyin or count the number of strokes. We both so love it and so need it very much. It will be very useful especially when papa is not home.
For koko, he loves the feature where he does not need to know the kata dasar of the malay word he is looking for. That's because when everytime he checks a word, he will come and ask me what the base word is and before I tell him, I would usually bark at him to make a wild guess before opening his mouth to ask me. Apart from that, there are many other features that make both of us lau-sai-hau-sui. I wish it's not that pricey, tagged at Rm1400, then I would have straight away brought it home. But come to think of how useful it is for the younger 2 later as well, it's quite a steal, ain't it?
I am looking if we can just have similar functions on the internet, FOC, rather than paying so much for this gadget. Do you know of any?
