Little things in life.

It's not so hard to enjoy life. The other day, after a blurred morning (like suddenly "huh? time to pick the kids now ah?) I just made a simple lunch and hurried off to the tadika. Driving home, on the spur of moment, I decided to take them for a short and simple indulgence and took them along to eat tai-peng-kor donuts.

It's so joyous to see them eat. "mmm.. so yummy" says didi. While meimei already tucked her little mouth into the pink donut, coloring her little cheeks pink as well. I just let them dirty themselves, when we get home, they'll have their shower anyway. It's a sheer pleasure just to spend these moments with them.

After walloping all 5 of them, leaving 1 behind for korkor, I told didi not to tell papa that we ate these donuts hoh. He asked me why. I said "if you tell, papa going to scold mommy and I can't take them here again lor" He gave a deep thought and his face told me he understood very well.

Then, we walked around for a little bit of shopping spree. Ahh... found a pair of nice comfy sandals for myself, and some few other items enough to make my day. Got this tablecloth for my table in the kitchen.

This old and worn table was left behind by the previous owner of this property, and we had wanted to replace it all the time. But somehow, both of us seemed to feel rather reluctant to just throw it away without a good valid reason as it's still standing fine. If someone would have liked to have it, we would be happy to give too. Then again, it doesn't really make a fine gift. Ahh.. with this tablecloth now, it totally gave it an uplifting look again and it became almost like new. Happy.

And with this, we went home and went through the day with our routine again.

The next day, papa came home fr his trip and meimei "chuen poe" our little secret. It was rather funny, with didi pointing a finger at her and said "ORHHHH!!! you told papa!". Meimei looked at me innocently and I said "that's ok, we can't have the donuts anymore only". And she started to pout, her eyes became misty and then *bawl*.

Oh yes, this taipengkor donuts gave me some vouchers for a promotion period in April, some buy 6 free 3, 3 for RM5.. I'm so gonna have it again (don't care what the man says). Yay!

Long ago, I used to look forward to every Friday 5.30pm. I would rush to prepare dinner and settle all that was needed to be done before 4....
