Local stand up comedy live.

A couple of weeks ago, I went for the first time to catch a live comedy, by local comedians. Actually, no, not the first time, the first was Wong Cheewah at Genting. That, was the first time for a local production actually.

A friend had graciously opened the invitations, all a treat on her, for the first 9 girls to reply to her. This happened in a closed group for women and it is happening in there indeed.

I was the first one to reply and yes, I was so looking forward to it, for 1, to watch a live comedy show and 2. to check out some hot chicks I was getting to know online through that group.

It sounded so crazily insane. Me hopping into a total stranger's car to PJ Live Arts and meeting them over dinner before the show starts. But of course, not exactly totally strangers la, I am pretty confident that they are not some hoax or conmen pretenders sucking the tits of desperate housewives like me.

I shall say, some of the women are really remarkable, with their sharing of past experiences, what they had gone through or some even going through now and yet turning out stronger than ever. This, is really what i have, nothing but respect and admiration for these ladies.

As for the show, there were 4 comedians doing their acts. One of them was downright rude and NOT funny at all using vulgarity throughout. Like, there's no other ways to make your act looks cool, dude? One is very young, he says he's 21, and he's alright, poking fun at himself, which made us laugh and feel kesian and sayang at the same time. The supposedly "star" of the show was .. well, moderately funny. I think I laughed most with the host who is, noticeably the veteran in this business. Nothing comparable to Wongcheewah, dammit, I really miss that guy.

After the show ended, we went for a drink and post mortem sikit, with some topics of women issues, our issues and said our goodbyes and hugs just before midnight.

I reached home before the clock struck and KT admonished me for coming home so late, saying I am not allowed for rendezvous like these anymore. *pout* (chiu! choi hui doe sor geh!)
