I told the kids this year, we are not going to have any birthday presents for a change. Instead we would be having a birthday cake within the family.
Korkor negotiated for a stayover with a couple of friends for HIS birthday and my reply to him was -.-
So, this birthday didi had this delicious fruit cake, my absolute favorite.

We went for a lunch with both hubs' siblings and their spouses and kid.

Happy 9th birthday, didi!
(that lucky fella, he has extra RM100 as angpow from his popo&kongkong and his gugu as birthday gift. Both meimei and korkor surely will remember to ask for their share when it comes to their turns! Whatever happened to my ruling, no presents??)
