Something new for CNY

Just right before we went home, my banker hiao hiao bought Wii (after I mentioned I'm interested in the Wii Sports) and we took it home to play with the rest of the family members.

So, apart from mahjong and cards (most of the time it's mahjong), we have Wii games to be entertained. Almost everyone had a go at one of those sports, even the koong koong. It was so cute to see grandpa and grandson horse racing each other to the finishing line.

Below is a video of my sil whacking her hubby out. Excuse the evil laughter at the background (that's not me, definitely!)

CNY truly live up to its standard of a blardy hot festive season here. It was so hot that by the third venue, didi came down with a slight fever and became inactive for the rest of the day. The idea to celebrate his birthday together with his grandpa in the routine annual "open house" at the gas station was dropped. I sat together with him at the office, just mother hugging son, rocking him a lullabye and singing happy birthday song to him. A tender moment to be remembered indeed.

Our annual friends' meet was interrupted this year by the absence of a few, especially the one who hosts our party each year. But it was good that 2 of them took the initiative to sms me up to ask any plans. Why, I am just a follower all the time, but these guys always think I'm the leader to arrange these things all the freaking time. We eventually met up outside in a crowded Old Town kopitiam, but the 2 hours spent chatting and talking nonsense was great. I "wat" this friend to invite us to his house for a BBQ party on the 14th Feb in KL.. ha ha.. poor thing!

A birthday party to attend in Kampar today, another friends' gathering at Casuarina, some lou-sang sessions to go and off we go back to KL. I miss my home sweet home, honestly speaking.

Waah, your banker so good to spend $$ to stimulate the economy. Maybe should get him to get Wii as gifts for your missing CNY frens.
