Out goes the old clothes

I finally find time to throw away the old clothes which had been jamming up my wardrobe. Those are stuffs which I never wear anymore, be it old-fashioned, or worn out or plainly no "mutual likings" between us. It's hard to convince my dh that I have no clothes to wear when my wardrobe doesn't tell the same story, right?

It's kinda difficult to pick which one I should take out for I'm one person who's rather "sentimental", yeah, even with clothes. But, I managed to put my sentimental values aside and let the brain rules for once.

Gosh, there was really one big pile of clothes, if you ask. It's good too, that I freed up the hangers to use it elsewhere for my maid was complaining there wasn't enough hangers to use as well.

Instead of really throwing it all away, I haven't got the "courage" enough to do just that yet, what I did was, I brought in the old luggage from the store room to tuck these old clothes in. Why I am still keeping clothes which I am not wearing anymore, I really have no idea. Some of the excuses I give myself...

1. Maybe the fashion would come back in trend again, and my daughter might just loves it.
2. I might have the free time to do some patchwork for my children one fine day.
3. Who knows, maybe I might need them to refresh my memory when I lost it (my memory) one day.
and couple of silly reasons enough to convince myself not to throw them away yet.

So, I took the luggage out, my 2nd boy saw me and asked where I am going. I said to him I am leaving, flying off to somewhere far away and not coming back anymore. *grin*

He immediately said "No, I don't want" and hugged me really tightly, as if I really would vanish into thin air. Poor thing, mommy giving him all the jitters. And what fun I was having then! Hehe.. Children! That's what they give to parents.

Yeah, you reminded me that I should do mine too. In my case, not so much of old clothes but rather clothes that do not fit anymore.

I like buying those printed t-shirts from Bangkok you see... and after washing, they tend to shrink a size smaller. So I ended up with figure hugging t-shirts that enhanced my tummy. Not a pretty sight...

So now whenever I go there to get more clothes, I will remind myself to buy a size bigger than what I normally wear. Then again, there are those that refused to shrink and I ended up with something too big. Sigh....

Gargies,

Every CNY is the period for me to organise my wardrobe. You know, my friend made a bag out of a t-shirt. Very clever of her.

My Friday favorite time of the week

Long ago, I used to look forward to every Friday 5.30pm. I would rush to prepare dinner and settle all that was needed to be done before 4....
