This must be a huge event.. judging from the highly enthusiastic journalists covering it.

Well, huge it was, but certainly restricted to the opinions to the parents of these children. Don't ask why, when you become a parent, you would soon do the same thing. Finding the best spot for the best view and holding it in the best positioning to get the best shot even if it meant straining your arms for a good 10 mins or so.. This is parenthood.

It started off pretty dull in the beginning (as expected) with those speeches and awards presentation ceremony. Everyone was yawning and falling asleep, well, maybe not quite, but at the very least, lazing back on the comfy sofa trying to take some rest before the show began. That was when the crowd slowly spilled to the front to take video clips/pictures of their precious darlings dancing on the stage.

The girls really have nice outfit to take home. I was telling my mom how unfair it was. All of us have to pay the same amount for the concert attire to the school, and what do we get? The boys take shirts or pyjamas lookalike home while the girls have party frocks they can wear to dinners or special occasions.

So cute. And so pretty. Made all the parents in the hall beaming with pride. I was one of them too, no doubt. Seeing him dancing on stage, I was smiling from ear to ear. The videoclip was replayed numerous times, but I still had not get enough of it.

But at the end when everyone came out for the last "show", he looked a bit "stoned" though. Don't know why.
Was it because of
1. the crowd (which seemed scary?) or
2. he still have no freaking idea what was going on, or
3. the teacher just gave him a scolding or
4. (I realized later) the makeup on his face?? Haha.. he kept telling me he had lipsticks on his lips after it was over.
I kept asking him, but he was dumbfounded.

Nevertheless, after it was over, he found a yellow balloon and he was back in his usual self again. For a sudden change, I thought he looked smartly different from the normal days. Oh, what a proud and contented mom I was that night.
